Marsh Sanctuary | Original Oil Painting by Karen d'Angeac Mihm
Oil on Panel 16 x 20 Available
$850.00 USD
I spent a quiet morning painting this marsh at Lion’s Den Nature Preserve during the Cedarburg Plein Air Event. Surrounded by birdsong, wildlife, and the gentle rustle of the reeds, it felt like the perfect place to slow down and simply observe. My only challenge? I was standing on a floating dock. As more visitors stopped to chat near the end of my session, the dock began to sway with every step, forcing me to pause my brushwork until the water settled. Thankfully, by then the painting was nearly finished!
